The 2005 Annual Conference of the National Council of La Raza (NCLR), the largest national Hispanic civil rights and advocacy organization in the U.S., will take place July 16-19 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia.
The NCLR Annual Conference, the single-largest national Hispanic event of the year, attracts more than 23,000 participants, bringing together some of the nation's foremost business and community leaders, government officials, and entertainers. This year's theme, A History of Service, A Future of Impact, reflects both the contributions that Latinos have made throughout the history of the United States during times of war and peace and the important role - economic, social, and political - that Latinos will play in this nation's future.

Washington, DC - The National Council of La Raza (NCLR), the largest national Hispanic civil rights and advocacy organization in the U.S., hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house in honor of its news headquarters building in the heart of Washington, DC. The ceremony took place at the new Raul Yzaguirre Building, 1126 16th Street, NW, on Wednesday, June 1, beginning at 4:00 p.m.
